Bake Me A Leader provides hands-on leadership experience through team-driven culinary activities, which focus on decision making, problem solving, and building communication & presentation skills, all while gaining confidence in the kitchen.

Summer Leadership Camps (6th-8th Grade)

Camp Dates:  July 10-14  ·  July 15-19  ·  July 29-August 2  ·  August 5-9

 

*Early Drop-Off/Late Pick-up available for an additional fee, must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance

Tuesday (9am-3pm):  Lab Day/Experiments + Presentations

Wednesday (9am-3pm):  Pies + Ice Cream

Thursday (9am-3pm):  Layer Cake Planning + Cake Baking

Friday (9am-3pm):  Layer Cake Decoration + Cake Party*

     *Parents are invited to join us on Friday afternoon for the cake party

Why Prep Kitchen CLE?

We chose to partner with Prep Kitchen CLE to allow our camp participants to use state-of-the-art kitchen equipment in a beautiful facility that is home to other inspiring and talented culinary ventures. Not only will they feel like professionals during the week, they will be in the presence of other professionals too. Additionally, this space has the perfect table for us to gather at for conversations, taste testings, and lessons in leadership. Let's Get Baking!

Additional Items: 

  1. By signing your children up for this camp, you understand that they will need to be present every day of the week in order to receive the full benefit of the camp. Registration is transferrable, but non-refundable.

  2. Lunches must be packed and brought with each attendee every day.

  3. A minimum number of attendees are required to make the camp a truly beneficial experience for your children. Should the minimum number of attendees not be met, you will be given notice of cancellation one week (7 days) in advance. At that time you can either select a different camp to attend or receive a refund.

  4. Allergy Notice: Recipes utilized during camp will include dairy and gluten. Recipes utilized during camp will not include nuts, but the facility in which camp takes place is not nut-free. We will do our best to accommodate allergies, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
